In 1961 I was asked to go to Kenya to set up and run the physics department of Strathmore College, a pre-university school owned and administered by Opus Dei. I gradually took on further responsibilities, eventually becoming the Warden of the College, and director to most of the members of Opus Dei involved there. I also organised the work with married members of Opus Dei, and set up a boys club. "
" In the summer of 1973 I began to draw up an internal report about Opus Dei. When news of this got to Rome I was asked to discontinue my report, and to hand over what I had written. I refused, and after various admonitions to withdraw my criticisms (not being allowed to see the Constitution of Opus Dei to discover my rights), I was requested to resign from Opus Dei. This I did in November 1973. Before I left I secretly xeroxed or transcribed about 140 editorials of Cronica, which is the chief internal magazine of Opus Dei, and which constitutes the main spiritual reading of members of Opus Dei. I made various efforts to draw the attention of the Church to the dangers of Opus Dei but without success. "" It is easy to be impressed by Opus Dei, with its beautiful buildings, its energy, its sense of purpose, its likeable, well-dressed members, and its apparent loyalty to traditional catholicism. But this is only one face of Opus Dei. Internally it is totalitarian and imbued with fascist ideas turned to religious purposes, ideas which were surely drawn from the Spain of its early years. It is virtually a sect or cult in spirit, a law unto itself, totally self-centred, grudgingly accepting Roman authority because it still considers Rome orthodox, and because of the vast pool of recruits accessible to it as a respected Catholic organisation. While its founder, ‘the Father’, J.M. Escriva, was alive he was the object of an almost hysterical personality cult deliberately fostered by himself and by the organisation in various ways which included the spreading of whispered stories that he received visitations from the Virgin Mary, the elaborate staging of ‘get-togethers’ with him, and through Opus Dei’s internal publications. As a condition of membership he demanded acceptance that ‘The Work’ was Divinely revealed to him, that it was therefore ‘absolutely perfect’, and that he was infallible in matters of the ‘spirit of the Work’. It is easy to understand why, therefore, it could happen, in 1973, that a senior member of the Work told me that if a choice had to be made he would follow the Father rather than the Pope, since the Founder himself at that time frequently stated that the ‘Church was rotten’ and that ‘he no longer believed in Popes or Bishops.’ "" Opus Dei has a grotesquely inflated opinion of itself, calling itself “everlasting,” the “predilect of God,” the “Mystical Body,” referring to “the beauty of the Work of God … which is more luminous than ‘the dawn, fair as the Moon, bright as the Sun, terrible as an army with banners’.” Opus Dei believes that it is the new chosen people, that its founder is a new Abraham, and that it has an “‘imperative command from Christ” to recruit the rest of the human race, including the Catholic Church, into the organisation. It should be no surprise therefore that its almost exclusive goal is its own aggrandizement through religious, political, and economic influence within the Church and in secular society, and above all by recruitment. "" Members are tightly controlled financially, handing over their salaries and being effectively persuaded to make out their wills to Opus Dei seven years after they have joined. Their letters are read, they are subjected to frequent “classes of formation,” weekly “confidences” with their director and a priest, and are coerced into submissive obedience. Some are pressed, against their wills, into becoming priests. Members are trained to appear joyful in their encounters with the public, to declare that they are very happy in Opus Dei, and that Opus Dei is a wonderful family. In fact Opus Dei is harsh and unbalanced, its members are locked into the strange mentality of its founder, and live in a world totally insulated from outside criticism. Many of the ordinary members are sincere though misguided, but the higher the level of government in Opus Dei the more reprehensible its conduct. Most alarmingly, members are cut off from the life, thought, and protection of the Church by the closed self-sufficiency of Opus Dei, by its hostility and contempt for just about every element in the Church, by its effective prohibition of anyone consulting a priest outside Opus Dei, and by its siege mentality. Trump has not hidden anything under the carpet as his perception about  Africa is concerned, going with his outbursts about the continent in  his nomination for republican ticket campaign which has  been characterised by racism and divisiveness. Kenyan Daniel arap Moi was the second Country's President .

Daniel Toroitich arap Moi    MOH-ee - is a former Kenyan politician who served as the second President of Kenya from 1978 to 2002. He removed Kikuyu ministers and replaced them with ministers from his own Kalenjin tribe. He was forced to allow multiparty elections in 1992. Prior to 1978, he served as the third Vice President of Kenya from 1967 to 1978.

Human rights advocates condemned the closure of World's largest Refugee Camp at Dadaab as a violation of international law. Do you support Kenyan Government's plans to close the Camps considering refugees have lived in Kenya for close to 25 yrs , and the reasons for their stay in Kenya are not yet solved in their respective nations ?

No reverse gear to close the largest camp said the Kenyan officials. The decision that has elicited criticize from international community and human rights advocates. Kenyan officials cited economic issues with keeping the camps operating and security concerns stemming from the terrorist group al-Shabaab.

The government without mincing words said “The government of the Republic of Kenya, having taken into consideration its national security interests, has decided that hosting of refugees has to come to an end,” Dr. Eng Karanja Kibicho, Kenya’s interior ministry principal secretary, said a statement. He said the timeframe for the closures will be “within the shortest possible time” because of these security issues.

This decision was condemed by the Human rights advocates , they expressed concern that Kenya’s move could be a violation of international law that puts hundreds of thousands of people in harm’s way.

“This reckless decision by the Kenyan government is an abdication of its duty to protect the vulnerable and will put thousands of lives at risk,” Muthoni Wanyeki, Amnesty International’s regional director in East Africa, told  the Mbiu News  . “It could lead to the involuntary return of thousands of refugees to Somalia and other countries of origin, where their lives may still be in danger. This would be in violation of Kenya’s obligations under international law.” she said.

Is Polygamy the way to go even to the Bible believers in this deceitful world ? Why is Polygamy allowed in Islam and way forward?

Polygamy can end the hurt caused by husband's cheating ......and Islam goes ahead to stipulate very strict equality in the treatment of wives. If a man cannot treat his wives equally, the Koran says he should have only one. How practical can this be, without jealousy , envy and all the ills associated with polygamy ? 

One Muslim said how he  couldn't  see why in the liberal 21st century must we live a lie in relationships? " And why do we continue to maintain a facade that monogamy is a perfect institution, when studies consistently reveal that most men admit to having affairs? Monogamy is great, but it is clearly not for everybody. "


Islam openly acknowledges this fact of human nature and stipulates a regulatory framework for plural relations. But he noted modern Western society, suspicious of all things Islamic, fails to recognise the qualities of Muslim marriage and family. When asked if they would accept Polyandrous marriage ....they state that  by its very nature polyandry creates an overwhelming burden for a woman in long-term relationships.....really than a man with 5 wives ?

In the Bible, 1n Matt. 19:4 we are told by Jesus that God created one “male and one female” and joined them in marriage. Mark 10:6-8:"But from the beginning of the creation, God 'made them male and female.' 'For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, 'and the two shall become one flesh'; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh.
The two as one is the pattern on how marriage was to be conducted from the start. NOT three or four as one.
Hebrews 13:3-4: “Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.”
God never condoned polygamy but like divorce he allowed it to occur and did not bring an immediate punishment for this disobedience. Deut. 17:14-17: “I will set a king over me like all the nations that are around me,' “you shall surely set a king over you whom the LORD your God chooses; one from among your brethren you shall set as king over you; you may not set a foreigner over you, who is not your brother. But he shall not multiply horses for himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt to multiply horses, for the LORD has said to you, 'You shall not return that way again.' “Neither shall he multiply wives for himself, lest his heart turn away; nor shall he greatly multiply silver and gold for himself.” This is the command of God, and he has never changed it.

1 Kings 11:3 says Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines violating the principle of monogamy that he was given through the law of Moses. Consider that Solomon at one time was the wisest man in the world. In I Kings 11:4: “For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father.” Notice Solomon became a polytheist because he was influenced in polygamy. In his case many wives, became many gods. Scripture has always commanded monogamy (Ps.128:3; Prov. 5:18; 18:22; 19:14; 31:10-29; Eccl. 9:9).

The fact is that God never commanded polygamy or divorce. Scripture says (Bible) He only permitted it because of the hardness of their hearts (Deut. 24:1; Matt. 19:8). Matt. 5:31-32: “Furthermore it has been said, “Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce. But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife for any reason except sexual immorality causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who is divorced commits adultery.” God hates divorce as well as polygamy, since it destroys the family (Mal. 2:16). Whatever the patriarchs or any Christian did wrong does not change the fact the Bible condemns it.

There are some stipulations in the law that are connected to this subject. Matt. 22:24: “Teacher, Moses said that if a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife and raise up offspring for his brother.” This is based on the commandment found in Deut. 25:5-6: “If brothers dwell together, and one of them dies and has no son, the widow of the dead man shall not be married to a stranger outside the family; her husband's brother shall go in to her, take her as his wife, and perform the duty of a husband's brother to her. “And it shall be that the firstborn son which she bears will succeed to the name of his dead brother, that his name may not be blotted out of Israel. ”

Multiple wives was tolerated but never with God's approval. Jesus told the Jews, "Because of your hardness of heart, Moses permitted you to divorce your wives; but from the beginning it has not been this way" (Matthew 19:3-8). The Mosaic law aimed at mitigating, rather than removing, evils that were inseparable from the state of society in that day. Its enactments were directed to the discouragement of polygamy; to prevent the injustice frequently consequent upon the exercise of the rights of a father or a master; to bring divorce under some restriction; and to enforce purity of life during the maintenance of the matrimonial bond.

The Bible says adultery is not a choice, one does not have to acquire another wife to solve his urges. Jesus said if you look upon another woman with desire (married or not) it is adultery, a sin.
Paul insisted that a leader in the church should be “the husband of one wife,” a deacon or elder must have one wife... Titus 1:6.

The New Testament teaches that, “Each man [should] have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband” (1 Cor. 7:2). Monogamous marriage teaches us the type of the relation Christ has between himself and His bride, the church (Eph. 5:31-32). The church is called the bride, collectively as one (singular) each person is not a bride, as in plurality of wives and marriages.

How many wives did Adam have in Gen.2:24? One, God did not take two wives out from his side. Monogamy has always been God's standard for the human race. From the very beginning God set the pattern by creating a monogamous marriage relationship -one man and one woman, Adam and Eve (Gen. 1:27; 2:21-25). It cannot be interpreted he became one with “each wife”; then this would mean he would be a husband to each, committing adultery. God certainly could have made two or more wives for Adam, this would have endorse the idea of polygamy, but he made only one.

The Bible clearly and decidedly states that God does not condone or allow the practice of polygamy over and over again.

America is a good World Prefect, than the East many have called as Lukewarm.

The USA has always for good reasons been the world's police force or prefect if you like for many years, and spends more on its military than any nation in the world. Of course even if the US stopped being her brothers' keeper....war would not stop .  What many are asking, what would happen if the USA took a more reserved role like many other countries instead of a proactive role? The world and especially the poor nations should embrace US for this reason than they are trying to be hoodwinked to go to the parasitic East which has not offered any tangible help and you don't see them when they would be needed most... America is in every place to help the vulnerable with UN heavily supplied by their military and other innate assistance than any nation in the world.

Eastern powers have bn getting through back doors, as they capitalized on African dictators for instance who are running away from the democratic West and deceiving their citizens about the ills  by ICC etc,  for instance for fear they would pay for their poor leadership in their nations. 

Question if America took the back seat on World affairs what would happen for poor nations ?

Second Generation Christians Are a share cause of " the Boring Church " , Born and raised in the Church and everything is just normal..........................

ARE YOU A FIRST GENERATION CHRISTIAN and you do not know who your number one enemy really is ?……you may have thought it’s the devil, but surprisingly you have to deal with yourself !

I am a first generation Christian. My parents did not raise me as a Christian deservedly apart from leaving me duped in a certain catechism classes where I learnt sacraments and denominational believes. I am still not sure, how I ended up in the “Church “and hearing the gospel other than it was the sovereign will of God. I grew up as young Christian without encouragement from home, in fact at times with opposition, misunderstandings and criticism. Even in this day, some of them are still embarrassed to tell pals their son is a preacher. That hurts, just to be a “Christian “I paid a price that some of you who have had the blessing of having grown in a Christian homes know nothing of.

Should my (your) daughters have to pay the same price? They have the blessing of growing up in a Christian home because of the resilience of their dad contending in God.

Nevertheless, having to contend for your faith does something for you; it puts spiritual steel in your back. Am praying that God not to let my second -generation believer children lose the fire and passion God has put within their parents because we had to fight for it. Can they learn to stand for Christ in their own right…..what kind of children have you brought up……as their faith in God is concerned ……and do you know yourself as either a 1st, 2nd, or even 3rd generation Christian ?

The second-generation believers are not only soft Christians…they cannot contend for the kingdom of God out in the world. Sometimes our kids come home having been picked and put down by their classmates because they are Christians, because their dad is a preacher, but they are also seeing God move, answering their prayers and using them to witness to their friends. The danger facing them though, the spiritual second or third generation is losing the desire to contend for their spiritual inheritance …………GOD CALLS THIS REBELLION!

Some of us, who were moving in a realm in God (don’t you know yourselves or you are reprobates) that was more than what we are moving in now, have ceased to contend for our inheritance -------God call us rebels. We have to maintain the discipline to secure our inheritance. We must spend time in prayer, band together with saints in relationship and covenant, witness our faith and share our faith in the community and with the lost dying world. AMEN

…and do you know the second enemy in your life …….it’s not the devil, you have deal with yourself.

Pope Francis while addressing Catholic followers regarding the ominous importance of edifying religious tolerance. During his hour-long speech, a smiling Pope Francis was quoted telling the Vatican’s guests that the Koran, and the spiritual teachings contained therein, are just as valid as the Holy Bible.

The Pontiff wants to merge our faiths !  Doesn't he know that , the Peaceful God of the Bible is omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent , fights for Himself….He says  “ vengeance is mine ; Do not Kill  “ ?   God of the Bible is alive !!

Western Diplomats in Uganda walk out of Museveni swearing-in ......... Shame on him and African dictators in attendace .

 Is Yoweri Museveni a dictator with nothing left to promise Uganda ? ....Embarrassed Africa to please his fellow African dictators in attendance !

Museveni was not right to castigate the ICC  in his  speech  that caused  Western Diplomats to walk out in  protest . They said ;  "We believe that walking out in protest is an appropriate reaction to a head of state mocking efforts to ensure accountability for victims of genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity."

US, European and Canadian envoys left abruptly when Mr Museveni made disparaging comments about the International Criminal Court (ICC).

The US state department said they had also objected to the presence of Sudan's Omar al-Bashir at the ceremony.

Mr Bashir is wanted by the ICC on charges of genocide.

State department spokeswoman Elizabeth Trudeau said: "In response to President Bashir's presence and President Museveni's remarks, the US delegation, along with representatives of the EU countries and Canada, departed the inauguration ceremonies to demonstrate our objections."  Added  Excerpts from BBC .

Tensions high in Uganda, as opposition leader Kizza Besigye is sworn in a day ahead of President Yoweri Museveni’s swearing-in ceremony . Museveni has ruled the country for 30 yrs . This for sure has brewed anarchy in Uganda’s and created political uncertainty . 

International observers had observed  Uganda's elections were fraudulent . The Commonwealth observer mission noted that Uganda's elections fell short of meeting key democratic benchmarks .

U.S. State Department deputy spokesman Mark Toner had said the Ugandan people deserved better.

Toner  further said,  "We encourage those who wish to contest the election results to do so peacefully and in accordance with Uganda's laws and judicial process, and urge the Ugandan government to respect the rights and freedoms of its people and refrain from interference in those processes."

Jubilee will win 2017 polls !

Deputy President William Ruto said he was confident his Jubilee coalition will win 2017 elections. However what has emerged from his home tough Rift Valley has shown mixed signs of this assertion. With Kanu, a dominant Party in the region now says they won’t join JAP a new outfit that should be born out of Jubilee. Senior members of Jubilee coalition from the region ; notably Governors, Senators, MPs, MCAs , the clergy so on from the region have also boycotted joining the new house , which  could pose major blow to Presidents Party. Considering that Both R. Valley and Central Kenya constitutes the ruling coalition numbers made up of two tribes (Kikuyu and the Kelinjin), will challenge opposition to the surprise of many, that has remained formidably united and seeming to enjoy goodwill from the rest 40+ tribes. The latter has her integral regions she boasts of intact as well . What should we expect ….a clash  of the titans ahead ?
