Its is a forgone conclusion that Hon. Wanjala is the
incoming MP for Budalangi. This realization though shouldn't be the ends that
thrills our community and the small fraction of elite Abanyala as a community
boast.
During the incumbent's era, we witnessed an embarrassing
tenure in which 'peasant' politics defined leadership at the expense of
strategic culture that could have come freely through incorporation of the wealth
of experience, knowledge and skills possessed by our limited but resolute
college-upwards educated sons and daughters.
The land Yes boasts of few strategically poised O-level sons
and daughters, but to efficiently compete in a globalized world requires that a
leader surrounds himself with some of the best minds around, not individuals
who define that value around masculinity and lingerie.
It is our hope that incoming will not suffer from this
destructive disease of low self-esteem, but define his leadership through
strategic clarity of some of our educated and networked sons and daughters, whom I
believe will readily accept the invitation for free, to generate and guide
policies and strategies that will be the reinvention of Budalangi, Not through
panicked, populist and excitedly hurried
surface activities ( I can not bastardize the concepts "programs ,
Plan,policies or strategies).
I believe Budalangi is headed towards a TRUE transformation
through a collective and inclusive approach to politics, not ego centered
chaos.
I wish him the best of luck, my grandfather the late Joseph Pedha Akwera used to carry me on his bicycle when I was very young going to campaign for Mwalimu.
ReplyDeleteI know he will clinch that post.
